I am so freaking happy. This aberrant eupepticism (No, me either) began last night as the midnight hour approached. For it was then that a boon was laid upon me-- a booniferous boon which, like anything suddenly dropped upon one's person, resulted in a startled reaction, but, being a boon in nature (composed, perhaps of boonads), the essence of the reactivity was joyous celebration, tepid ecstasy at the very least. Cockles were warmed but never dangerously so, and temperature was maintained at a consistent level throughout the Cockling. Brow-Sweat was justified, insomnia vindicated, whatever and &c. Plffft.
I've just found out that my story "Welcome Home, All You Uninvited" is the third story accepted for Chiral Mad 2, joining what promises to be a fantastic list of contributors to editor/author Michael Bailey's much anticipated follow-up to Chiral Mad 1 (makes sense), which contains my story "The Apologies" . . . Anyway that's about it for now, but even I think this is newsworthy-- and I have rarely found the news a worthy thing.
More information on this boonadic experience will be forthcoming as details emerge, peep and so forth and so on.
