Sean Satin's event on May 3rd at the fantastic Turtle Bay Music School, where Sean teaches classical guitar, was nothing short of spectacular, featuring music from the 16th century (when I was a kid), all the way through the Game of Thrones theme (when I got too busy to even watch TV, but which I understand is sorta 16th century itself).
I was honored to perform as narrator for three of my "ghost poems" in an extended piece composed by Gene Pritsker and played by Pritsker, Sean Satin on guitar, Mark Kostabi on piano, Franz Hackl on trumpet, Jay Kauffman on guitar, and last but not least, Gene, the band leader on electric guitar.
Everyone played beautifully and we are all so fluidly synchronized, that I'm still high on the experience.
See below to listen to very good audio of the full piece. It goes by fast,
I promise . . .
